TRYING SOME MENDING TECHNIQUES
(not all are related to loneliness, just wanted to try some things out)

Sometimes I experience doing my make up as a way of mending (loneliness). Some days it only takes looking a bit better to also feel better about myself and my own company. The act itself is also just fun. Taking your time and playing some music you love can put you in a way better mood.

A simple video to practise putting a video together. And also disclaimer: I almost never do my make up so I kinda suck at it haha.

MENDING TROUGH PRODUCTIVITY
For this way of mending I did some research about the ideal productive day and formulated a schedule for myself from that. It really did work, I didn't feel lonely and also had a lot of work done. I was too busy to be sad. I didn't follow my schedule exactly, but I did do everyting on it. I think my way of working fits a to do list more then a timeschedule anyway.

I feel like the main thing that made this work is the morning routine. Not checking your phone, not going on youtube etc. but instead going for a walk, reading, eating the frog etc. This really starts of your day in a good productive way.

I also made a lot of art and listend to music, and that works really well for not being sad.

AN INTERVIEW WITH MYSELF
AN INTERVIEW WITH MYSELF
To end this project and hopefully pull it a bit together I did an interview with myself. It's in Dutch, because that comes the most natural too me and allows me to speak more comfortable, but I put subtitles in English. I had to cut a lot because it only could be two minutes, but you can find the whole 'interview' in the PDF.

Thank you for visiting my hotglue! I hope it gave some insight in what I did this practice. I really did find it a valuable experience, and I'm gonna continue my mending progress. Thank you for the interesting few weeks and enyoy your summer!
